G. Cahillas: we are not robots

Gary Cahill after "Chelsea's" defeat in the London derby was disappointed, but he accepted the result calmly.

According to the defender, the failure against "Tottenham" was simply because his team "are not robots". If the "aristocrats" had won three points yesterday, they would have repeated the best all-time result in the Premier League - 14 consecutive victories.

However, Dele Alli's double brought victory to Mauricio Pochettino's pupils.

"We are not robots, but at the same time we are disappointed. I thought we could step up to the next level," Cahill said.

"I felt that we weren't as sharp, we weren't as fast as we have been so far. We made a few inaccurate passes, a few times we received the ball poorly."

"We were lacking a bit to that level we showed this season. However, in such places, there should be no shortage. We need to praise them ('Tottenham' - ed. note), they performed well and secured the result."

Despite the defeat, "Chelsea" still lead "Liverpool" by five points in second place.
