"Juventus" defender Giorgio Chiellini dismisses rumors that the showdown between him and "Barcelona" striker Luis Suarez in the UEFA Champions League final will be special.
This will be the first time these players face each other after last summer's World Cup when Suarez bit Chiellini on the neck.
As a result of this incident, the Uruguayan had to miss four months of football, but the Italian national team defender says that both players have long since forgotten about it.
"I will face Suarez just like any other great striker: Ronaldo, Bale, Benzema, or Chicharito," Chiellini told Tuttosport.
"Episodes like the one that happened last summer only help you mature. I think our goal will simply be to win the Champions League."
Interestingly, Suarez will also have to face Patrice Evra in the final, who he was found guilty of racially insulting back in 2011.
