G. Chiellini: we knew that "Tottenham" team always lacks something

After a tough 2-1 victory in London against "Tottenham Hotspur," Juventus defender Giorgio Chiellini stated that their victory was brought by self-belief and the knowledge that their opponents always lack something until big victories.

The Juventus team fell behind after Son Heung-Min's goal, but their series of victories was guaranteed by Gonzalo Higuain and Paulo Dybala's goals. After the match, G. Chiellini revealed that despite needing to score two goals during the break to survive, the team did not panic because they knew their opponents would give them chances to score.

"During the long break, we told ourselves that we need to remain calm despite having to suffer a lot, because we will still get our chances. 'Tottenham' proved that they are a great team. I think they lack very little to become one of the best teams in Europe. Perhaps they need a little more experience. A few years ago, we were in a similar situation, but reaching a couple of finals changed the situation.

That's the history of 'Tottenham': they always create many opportunities and score many goals, but in the end, they lack something. And we believe in history. I think that in yesterday's match between 'Real' and PSG, we saw that history is important. 'Spurs' need to fight for something to be able to win such matches: a trophy that ignites a spark, or something similar. When you can't win by playing great football, you have to find another way," the defender said.

The last title "Tottenham Hotspur" won was in the 2007-2008 season when they won the league cup tournament.
