The Paris Saint Germain goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma will remember the match against Monaco not only for the 4:2 victory.
The 25-year-old Italian suffered a gruesome head injury in the 20th minute of the match and was forced to leave the field.
During the incident, G. Donnarumma bravely confronted the incoming opponent Wilfried Singo, who collided directly with the goalkeeper's head.
However, the referee was lenient towards the culprit of the misfortune and did not issue him a second yellow card.
