G. Gattuso: "We have already reconciled with Higuain's decision"

Gennaro Gattuso before today's match against "Genoa" revealed that Gonzalo Higuain is already one foot in London's "Chelsea" club.

The Argentine, who expressed his desire to leave "Milan" a few weeks ago, was not included in the squad for the upcoming match. This means only one thing - in the coming days he will be in London.

"Nothing has been decided yet, you have to talk to Leonardo about that," - in response to the reports that G. Higuain has already agreed, G. Gattuso replied.

"I have to be honest and say that this weekend I had the worst training session since I've been at the club. All the talk about his departure is really not helping him. I spoke with Higuain and told him that everything is fine with what is being done.

In my team, I want to see people who are psychologically ready to play, and Higuain is not currently ready for that. I am not disappointed in him, I understand him, because I was a player myself.

I have come to terms with his choice, as I did last summer with Leonardo Bonucci. The feeling of respect remains, but of course, he could have helped us much more, just as we could have helped him. It is what it is.

"This team now needs to calm down and focus on things that we have not paid enough attention to before," - said G. Gattuso.

The departing G. Higuain in Milan should be replaced by the Polish player Krzysztof Piatek, who is still playing against them today.
