Despite London's Chelsea suffering a defeat against Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals yesterday, team manager Guus Hiddink tried to stay positive.
Parisians were led forward yesterday by Zlatan Ibrahimovic, but John Obi Mikel equalized the score in the first half.
Laurent Blanc's protege Edinson Cavani, who came on as a substitute, became the hero with a goal in the 78th minute.
"Yes, of course, the result is poor, but on the other hand, it's always important to score an away goal," Hiddink told BT Sports.
"It's a bit painful, but our team still has chances."
"In four or five counterattacks, we lacked composure in the final pass, but we are satisfied with our performance."
"Finally, if we succeed at Stamford Bridge, the failure in Paris won't matter as much."
The return match in England will take place on March 9th.
