Guus Hiddink revealed that regardless of what results he achieves this season, he will end his coaching career when it is over.
The 69-year-old strategist became the manager of Chelsea in December, replacing Jose Mourinho in that position. Hiddink helped the team regain several positions in the Premier League, with the only loss under his leadership coming in the Champions League match against Paris Saint-Germain.
"I feel well prepared and fresh, and I go to training every morning with a smile. Although we went through a difficult period with many losses, I enjoy going to training. However, I think younger people should take over the position, and I need to step back a bit. Next season, I will frequently visit the Chelsea team, but I don't think I will work anywhere else," said Hiddink.
In the Premier League, Chelsea is currently in twelfth place. The Blues are also participating in the Champions League and FA Cup competitions, reaching the quarterfinals of the tournament after a victory against Manchester City.
