G. Higuain: Football in Italy is much more challenging than in Spain

Gonzalo Higuain and his team representing Turin's "Juventus" are facing a serious test on Tuesday - in the first UEFA Champions League quarterfinal match, they will face a duel with "Barcelona."

The first showdown will take place in Turin, so the "old lady" will only seek a positive result. G. Higuain is well acquainted with "Barcelona" from his time at Madrid's "Real," so he has no doubt that they will face difficult matches.

G. Higuain first remembered the seven years he spent in Madrid: "I moved to 'Real' at a very young age - the decision was very determined. However, I am grateful to the 'Real' club, which gave me the opportunity to improve as a footballer. I spent seven years in a great city, in a wonderful club. It was an invaluable experience."

"Football in Spain and Italy is different. In Italy, a tough game prevails, while in Spain, the game is very open. Matches in Italy are much tougher, and you won't often see as many high-scoring matches as there. There is also a lot of work put into defense here.

"Barcelona" has already shown how unpredictable football can be. After the first match, Paris Saint-Germain was almost guaranteed to move on to the next stage, but we all saw what happened. We want to achieve a good result at home so that we have confidence in Barcelona. They are a very dangerous opponent, against whom we cannot lose focus for a second," added G. Higuain.

The 29-year-old striker has scored 27 goals in 42 matches for "Juventus" this season.
