G. Higuain: I was not welcomed in the "Chelsea" club

Gonzalo Higuainas was officially presented today at a press conference as the new player of "Milan".

On Thursday, the Argentine arrived in Milan and successfully passed a medical examination. The experienced forward will initially play on loan for the "rossoneri" team, and after a year he will be bought for a sum of 36 million euros.

Before officially becoming a player of "Juventus", there were rumors in the media that London's "Chelsea" also wanted G. Higuain, but the forward stated that he was not wanted in that team.

"I feel a special connection with Maurizio Sarri. We talked about the possibility of working together again, but the problem was that he was the only person at "Chelsea" who wanted me there."

"The situation in Milan is completely different - everyone is happy about my transfer," said the forward.

G. Higuainas revealed yesterday that he did not want to leave "Juventus", but understood that in football feelings are not always an indicator: "I didn't want to leave, but the situation is what it is. They told me that due to the financial situation, there is no possibility to keep me here, so it would be best for us to part ways.

"After what I did at the "Juventus" club, I thought I deserved much more respect, but that's football for you."
