G. Higuain: Moving to "Juve" was Pushed by "Napoli" President

Gonzalo Higuain insists that a big part of his move to Turin's Juventus was influenced by Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis.

The Argentine national team sniper moved from Southern Italy to the country's champion club for 90 million euros and became the third most expensive football player of all time.

It is worth noting that before the transfer, De Laurentiis stated that accepting such a decision, the 28-year-old footballer would betray his team.

"My relationship with him was never good, because his way of thinking is not like mine," said Higuain during his presentation. "This choice was also influenced by his push towards it."

"Now I am very happy and I want to thank Juventus for their great efforts in acquiring me."

Higuain became the record holder of the Italian championship last season. In 35 matches, he managed to score a whopping 36 goals.
