Gonzalo Higuain's father Jorge, who also serves as his agent, assures that the striker will defend the honor of Turin's Juventus next season. The 32-year-old Argentine returned to Juventus last summer after being loaned out to AC Milan and Chelsea in the 2018-19 season. Recently, there have been rumors in Italy that G. Higuain will leave Juventus after this season, but his father claims that the striker will play in Turin at least until the end of his contract.
"What is being said in the media about Gonzalo is untrue," said Jorge Higuain. "I can only say one thing - Gonzalo will stay at Juventus because he has a valid contract with the club for another year and a half. He respects that and will stay here until the end of the contract."
"After 18 months, Gonzalo himself will decide what lies ahead in his career. That is the only truth. Only something very unexpected could change his plans," added G. Higuain's father. This season, the Argentine played 34 matches for Juventus and scored 8 goals.
