FIFA president Gianni Infantino faces a wave of criticism.
The head of the World Football Organization traveled to Brazil to bid farewell to the recently deceased famous Pele, but lost control and began taking selfies with other people not far from the legend's coffin.
According to internet users, this behavior demonstrated disrespectful conduct by the president.
Nevertheless, G. Infantino had his own arguments.
"I was surprised when I was informed that some people were criticizing me for taking selfies and photos at the ceremony yesterday.
If being a friend of Pele means receiving words of criticism, I will gladly accept them and move on," said G. Infantino.
By the way, these days the 52-year-old Swiss suggested an original idea - that there should be at least one stadium named after Pele in every country in the world.
