G. Jarusevičius returns to Vilnius 'Žalgiris'

After the season break, Gustas Jarusevičius is preparing to return to 'Žalgiris' – the club and the defender have reached an agreement.

The 21-year-old player represented the Vilnius district 'TransINVEST' team last year, where he played 14 matches and scored 1 goal.

Due to an injury sustained during UEFA Conference League matches in the Czech Republic, the player has not played since August.

G. Jarusevičius, a graduate of the Alytus football academy, began his career with the 'Dainava' team.

In 2019, he joined 'Žalgiris' and made his debut in the top league at the age of 16.

During four seasons with the Vilnius club, he played 82 matches and scored 6 goals, becoming the national champion three times.

G. Jarusevičius will join the team's preparation for the season from the first training session, and he will officially become a club member again after completing the remaining formalities.
