G. Mažeika drew the hatred of "Beşiktaş" fans after Europa League matches

One of the best Lithuanian arbitrators Gediminas Mažeika on Thursday evening became the biggest adversary of Istanbul's "Beşiktaş" team fans.

The Lithuanian arbitration team officiated in the match between the "Braga" and "Beşiktaş" clubs, which took place in Portugal. "Braga" triumphed with a score of 3:1, but the "Beşiktaş" fans saw only one problem - G. Mažeika.

The hatred of the "Beşiktaş" fans was caused by the red card shown in the 44th minute to the team's forward Jeremain Lens, who, while fighting for the ball, clashed with the opponent's legs.

Turkish fans are convinced that G. Mažeika made a mistake and thus cost their team the match.

In the "Twitter" network, there were many hate-inducing messages addressed to G. Mažeika.

One "Twitter" user wrote: "Gediminas Mažeika is a disaster. Maybe he is suitable to work in the 3rd organization."

Similarly wrote another "Twitter" user: "Who is Gediminas Mažeika? Obviously, he is not suitable for the European level. Very poor refereeing! You should apologize to the "Beşiktaş" club for such a poor referee, who was appointed for these matches."
