„Barcelona“ team midfielder Frenkie de Jong is one of the most discussed footballers this summer. The services of the Dutchman are especially sought after by „Manchester United“, however, the „Red Devils“ cannot reach an agreement with „Barca“ and the player himself. The Catalan club wants to keep F. de Jong, but forces him to significantly reduce his salary, even though the club still owes the player a substantial sum. Furthermore, „Barca“ has already spent a considerable amount on new players this summer. The situation was commented on social media platform „Twitter“ by „Man Utd“ legend Gary Neville, who suggests that F. de Jong should take legal action. „De Jong should consider legal action against „Barcelona“ and all footballers should support him. The club is spending huge amounts of money on new players, yet has not fully settled with their current team players. This is completely amoral. FIFPro (the organization that looks after professional footballers - ed.) should do everything to prevent such situations“, - wrote G. Neville.
