According to football journalist Fabrizio Romano, the new head coach of Sevilla will be Garcia Pimienta. He will replace Quique Sanchez Flores in this position.

The 49-year-old specialist has been working at Gran Canaria's Las Palmas club since 2022, and last year his team finished in 16th place in La Liga championship.

G. Pimienta will sign a contract with the Andalusian team until next summer, with the possibility of extending for another season.

Last season, Sevilla finished in 14th place and dropped out in the group stage of the UEFA Champions League.
