"Barcelona" defender Gerard Pique urged his teammates to forget the defeat to "Real Sociedad" in San Sebastian and focus on Wednesday's match against Madrid's "Atletico".
Two Catalan failures in a row have brought back the intrigue in the battle for the Spanish championship title, but according to Pique, the most important thing for "Barca" is the UEFA Champions League.
Before the return leg of the quarterfinal match, Luis Enrique's players have a one-goal advantage.
"We started the match (against "Sociedad" - ed. note) with a missed goal and it was painful for us", - said the Spanish national team defender. "We didn't play well in the first half, and it was difficult in the second half as well. No team can perform perfectly throughout the season."
"Very important match awaits us on Wednesday. On that day, we will play in the most important tournament of all."
With only three rounds left until the end of "La Liga" championships, "Barca" leads "Atletico" by three points, while Madrid's "Real" lags behind the Catalans by four.
