At the press conference of the Spanish national team, Barcelona defender Gerard Pique admitted that most likely this summer Cesc Fabregas will say goodbye to the Catalan team.
The 27-year-old footballer joined "Barca" in 2011, but lately there have been reports in the media that the Spaniard will return to the English Premier League.
Many English clubs are interested in C. Fabregas, but the most realistic contender to acquire him is Manchester City, which has already submitted a €37 million offer.
"I like Cesc and I know that he is going through a tough time right now. The club doesn't value him as much as they should," G. Pique told journalists.
"He is the kind of player that should be the first choice in any team in the world. I don't know what he plans to do next, but I hope he stays," the defender added.
Interestingly, during the press conference, G. Pique wanted to quietly pass on the news to coach Vicente Del Bosque, but the microphone was not turned on. G. Pique told the Spanish national team coach that C. Fabregas will leave Barcelona for €33 million.
