G. Potter rejected the offer from "Lyon" club

This season, the "Lyon" club started tragically, gathering only one point in four matches, with a goal difference of -7.

Current coach Laurent Blanc's seat is "burning", and a new candidate is being sought to replace him.

"L'Equipe" reported that the clearest candidate was former "Chelsea" coach Graham Potter.

"Lyon" owner John Textor had met with the Englishman and really wanted him to become the new coach, adds the French newspaper.

Later, journalist David Ornstein announced that Graham Potter himself declined to take over the reins of the French club, citing that it is currently not the right time.
