After the second consecutive defeat in the European Championship final, changes are coming to the England national team.

Gareth Southgate has decided to step down from the position of head coach of the England national team, as announced in an official statement.

G. Southgate has been in charge of the "Three Lions" since 2016. Up to this moment, he managed to reach the European Championship final twice, the World Cup semifinals once, and the quarterfinals once. However, no trophies were won.

Based on victories, he became one of the best England national team coaches of all time.

It is still unclear who could take over the reins of the European vice champions.

After 102 games and almost eight years in charge, Gareth Southgate has announced he is to leave his role as manager of the #ThreeLions.
