Glazgo "Rangers" found a successor to Steven Gerrard, who left the club last week. The new Rangers coach became Giovanni van Bronckhorst, who represented the Glasgow team for three years during his career. G. van Bronckhorst represented clubs such as "Feyenoord", "Arsenal", "Barcelona", and played for the "Rangers" team from 1998-2001. The Dutchman had a great career and played for the Netherlands national team. One of his most memorable goals was in the 2010 World Cup semi-final, when the defender struck a fantastic shot from almost 40 meters to beat Uruguayan goalkeeper Fernando Muslera. G. van Bronckhorst started his career as a midfielder, but later moved to the position of left-back. From 2015-19, the Dutchman was the head coach of Rotterdam's "Feyenoord" team. Currently, "Rangers" are in first place in the Scottish Championship standings.
