Captain of the Netherlands national team Georginio Wijnaldum, who scored goals in the 51st and 58th minutes and was recognized as the best player of the match, commented after the game: "It's always nice to be appreciated, but I think Frenkie de Jong and Memphis Depay deserve it more than me. Their game on the field is unbelievable. If someone asked me what the secret of scoring goals is, I would answer - you need to be in the right place at the right time. The evidence of that is our two easily scored goals."
"Moreover, I don't think that we are the only ones creating a threat in the attack of the Netherlands national team with Memphis. We have more players in our team who can make a difference during the match," added G. Wijnaldum.
