"Gareth Bale, who has suffered a trauma, will miss the Champions League semi-final"

Struggling with injuries this season, Madrid's "Real" forward Gareth Bale will be forced to miss the UEFA Champions League semi-final.

"Real" announced on their official website the medical diagnosis that G. Bale has a strained calf muscle. Due to this injury, Bale will only be able to return to the field after 3-4 weeks.

Bale had recently suffered the same injury, but managed to recover in time for the "El Clasico" match last weekend. However, by the 37th minute, Zinedine Zidane was forced to make a substitution as Bale could no longer continue playing.

This means that without Bale, "Real" will have to face "Atletico" in both legs of the Champions League semi-final. The winger will also miss four La Liga matches against "Deportivo", "Valencia", "Granada", and "Sevilla".

After an excellent last season at "Real", Bale has been haunted by constant injuries this season, preventing him from playing in 18 matches.

Until now, the most expensive player in "Real" has appeared on the field 26 times and scored nine goals.
