Former Bayern Munich forward Giovane Elber believes that the German champions would not go wrong by acquiring Shakhtar Donetsk winger Douglas Costa.
The media reports that Bayern should soon finalize negotiations with the Ukrainians for the 24-year-old's transfer to their ranks. It is believed that the Bavarians will pay €35 million for the Brazilian.
"Bayern always looks ahead," Elber said. "We understand very well that Robben and Ribery are approaching the sunset, so Bayern must look for alternatives."
"Douglas can successfully create attacks, but it is not the easiest task for him. The most important thing is that he does not have to withstand great pressure. In time, he should fit into the Bayern team and in Germany.
"In that case, I believe he can become a true key player for Bayern's victories," added Elber, who also played for the Brazilian national team.
