"Genoa" buys out "Juventus" defender's contract

On January 24, Stefano Sturaro, who strengthened the "Genoa" team on a rental basis, has now become a full-fledged player of this club.

Turin's "Juventus" confirmed that "Genoa" bought out the 25-year-old defender's contract for 16.5 million euros. S. Sturaro was on loan to Lisbon's "Sporting" team last summer, but did not play any games there.

Due to a broken ankle bone, the Italian did not take to the field at all this season. However, he should return to the lineup in the near future and start defending the honor of "Genoa."

This team is well known to him - Sturaro attended the club's academy and played in the main team for several years.

"Juventus" acquired his rights in 2014. The player managed to play 90 matches and score three goals in the ranks of the "Old Lady."
