German services prevented terrorist attack during EURO 2024 final

The final of the European Football Championship between the national teams of Spain and England, which took place in Berlin, could have become famous for a sad reason.

It is reported that German authorities prevented a possible ISIS terrorist attack.

The killers had targeted football fans gathered in "Breitscheidplatz" square, and only the swift reaction of law enforcement officers prevented casualties.

It is claimed that the terrorists were carefully preparing for the attack, but they were secretly monitored by security officials, who later apprehended three criminals.

In 2016, a terrorist attack was already carried out in "Breitscheidplatz" square, claiming 12 lives.

According to the English media, around 45,000 police officers will work in the upcoming Paris Olympics, with colleagues from other European countries assisting the hosts.
