The German national team crushed the Latvian national team in the last friendly match in Dusseldorf, at the "Merkul Spiel-Arena" stadium with a score of 7:1. Already after the first half, "Die Manschaft" was leading 5:0, and in the second half they added two more goals. Different players scored goals for the Germans: Gnabry, Gosens, Muller, Sane, Werner and Gundogan, and the Latvians scored an own goal, which was made by Roberts Ozols. The only goal for the Latvians was scored by Aleksejs Savaljevs in the 75th minute.
Meanwhile, in other friendly matches, Ukraine defeated Cyprus 4:0, Serbia drew 1:1 with the Jamaican national team, and the Faroe Islands crushed Liechtenstein 5:1.
