The marathon of friendly matches continues. So far, three games have been played.
World champions Germany defeated the Italian national team with a score of 4-1 on their own field. In this match, the hosts' defenders played excellently. Toni Kroos and Mario Gotze scored once, while Mesut Ozil, the leader of London's "Arsenal," converted a penalty kick. Defender Jonas Hector also scored. Meanwhile, Stephane El Shaarawy scored a consolation goal for the losers when they were already trailing 0-4.
In a match relocated due to terror attacks in Brussels, the Belgian national team could not hold off the Portuguese. Nani put them ahead in the 20th minute and shortly after, another country striker Cristiano Ronaldo doubled the lead. After halftime, Marco Wilmots' players tried to come back, but Romelu Lukaku's precise shot was not enough for them.
A lot of attention was drawn to the match between the English national team and the Netherlands at Wembley Stadium. Jamie Vardy scored in the second consecutive match, but the guests who did not qualify for the European Championship managed to come back and take the win. Vincent Janssen equalized for the Dutch from a penalty kick at the beginning of the second half, and Luciano Narsingh scored the winning goal.
Meanwhile, the hosts of "Euro 2016" tested the recently strong Russian team at home. Here, our neighbors did much worse - they lost 4-2. After the first half, Ngolo Kante and Andre-Pierre Gignac's precise strikes gave the French a 2-0 lead. However, the Russians did not intend to give up and got back into the game after Aleksandr Kokorin's goal. Then "West Ham" leader Dimitri Payet displayed the hosts' dominance, but shortly after, Yuri Zhirkov responded with a successful attack. In these excellent matches, the crucial contribution was finally made by Bayern Munich legionnaire Kingsley Coman.
