Marcus Gisdolis became another representative of the sports world who left the Russian team because of this country's unjustified aggression in Ukraine. M. Gisdolis officially resigned from the Moscow "Lokomotiv" club. The 52-year-old strategist told the German daily: "For me personally, coaching football is the best job in the world. However, I cannot continue my work in a country whose leader is responsible for war in the middle of Europe. This does not align with my values, so I immediately resigned from the position of head coach at "Lokomotiv". I cannot stand on the training field in Moscow, train players, demand professionalism when just a few kilometers away orders are given that bring a lot of pain to thousands of people," said M. Gisdolis. During his career, the German has coached clubs such as "Stuttgart," "Hoffenheim," "Hamburger," "Koln."
