During last season's UEFA Champions League final between Madrid's "Real" and Madrid's "Atletico", the main time ended with a score of 1-1, but did you know that in the last 24 years a total of 65 goals were scored in the finals?
That's an average of 2.7 goals per match, so the match between "Real" and Turin's "Juventus" is likely not going to be a boring ball-pushing game, right?
The first goal will be especially important, as teams that have opened the scoring have won the title 18 times.
More than a fifth of the finals have seen players scoring twice or more. Is it time for Cristiano Ronaldo to shine? Sergio Ramos? Gonzalo Higuain? Perhaps a few of them?
And did you know that out of all 65 goals, 32 were scored with the right foot, 18 with the left foot, 14 with the head, and one even with the body?
Let's hope we see some of those tonight.
Truth be told, if the final still doesn't please you, wait at least half an hour - the first goal of the match usually comes around the 31st minute, and after the first half, teams that are trailing come back just over 3 times out of 10. So there is a good chance that this goal will determine the outcome of the final.
