Successfully debuting in the position of "Milan" coach, Gennaro Gattuso received appreciation yesterday - a new long-term contract.
After signing the contract, the 40-year-old Italian did not hide his joy:
"I am proud of this special moment. Now we must continue our journey and I promise that we will work hard to bring the "Milan" team back to where it belongs.
There is a huge pressure, but it doesn't scare me.
I wanted to thank the club leaders who invited me to coach the youth team last summer, as well as all team members, players," said Gattuso, whom fans admired when he still defended the club's colors on the field.
"I know all the chants of the fans. I support this team and it is an honor for me to be its coach."
