"Napoli" club's Argentinian national team striker Gonzalo Higuain could become a member of the "Barcelona" team next season.
Last season, he moved to Italy from the royal Madrid's "Real" club for 40 million euros, but this summer the striker could return to Spain and wear the eternal rivals "Los Blancos" jersey.
The Spanish newspaper Marca reports that an agreement has already been reached with the player himself, but the clubs still need to agree on the transfer fee for G.Higuain.
The player himself insists that he would like to play together with Argentina and "Barcelona" club star Lionel Messi.
"Of course, I would like to play with him in the club. It is obvious that playing together with Messi would be a great pleasure for me, but my thoughts are now focused only on the World Cup," he said.
"I like that "Barca" is interested in me. Every footballer would like that," the 26-year-old striker confirmed.
Last season, in Rafael Benitez's coached "Napoli" club, G.Higuain scored 24 goals in 46 official matches.
