Legendary goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon, who emotionally said goodbye to the Italian national team a couple of weeks ago, may still wear the blue team's jersey in the future.
"At the moment, I have decided to take a break. Both at Juventus and in the national team, I have always tried to play like a warrior. Even when I turn 60, I will never be able to refuse any request, because I am dedicated to my country," said Buffon.
He also tried to defend former national team coach Giampiero Ventura, who was heavily criticized.
"The coach did everything he could, unfortunately we couldn't score goals in the games we led."
