The team of Šiauliai "Gintra", defending the title of Lithuanian champions, finally managed to open the win column in the women's A league. 2:1 (0:1) victory over FC "Hegelmann" ended resistance of the visitors. This was the first win for the team after two draws in previous rounds.
In other matches of this round, Joniškis "Saned" shared points with Utena "Utenis", while in the Vilnius derby, Zalgiris celebrated a 2:0 victory.

The Kaunas team started the match better, taking the lead 0:1 early on after a precise strike by Emos Kriaučiūnaitė. The cold shower did not wake up the hosts, as they made many mistakes which the opponents successfully capitalized on.
Juliet Bassey had a great opportunity to equalize in the middle of the first half, but her shot was saved by the Kaunas goalkeeper. Until halftime, all the hosts' attempts to restore the status quo were in vain.
In the second half, the players from Šiauliai began to press the opponents in their half, but real chances were still lacking. Abigail Sunday had a decent chance to score, but her shot went wide. Erika Šupelytė, who found herself alone in front of the opponent's goalkeeper, also missed a good opportunity.
In the 74th minute, J. Bassey provoked a penalty in the opponent's penalty area, which was successfully converted by captain Algimantė Mikutaitė 1:1. The Gintra team completely dominated the opponents in the final moments of the match, pressing them in their penalty area, and in the 89th minute, Abigail Sunday scored a decisive goal with a precise strike 2:1.
