The Lithuanian girls' U19 national team, preparing for the European Championship taking place in Lithuania, played a friendly match against the team FS "Metta" from Latvia on Sunday.
The Lithuanians proved their dominance in Radviliškis and won the match 2:0. This was one of the last tests before the European Championship, which will take place in Kaunas, Marijampolė, and Jonava from July 14-27.
The first goal in the match came after just over 23 minutes, when Viltė Švarcaitė scored a long-range shot following a mistake by the opponents near their goal.
A few minutes later, Ema Kriaučiūnaitė successfully attacked from a distance, making the score 2:0.
Throughout the rest of the time, the Lithuanian national team maintained their advantage and secured the victory.
