„Gladbach“ team confirmed that they have acquired Jonas Hofmann from „Borussia“ Dortmund, with whom he signed a contract until 2020.
Reports in Germany say that the 23-year-old player will be paid a sum of eight million euros.
Hofmann joined „Borussia“ in 2011, but he has struggled to establish himself in the main team. This season he played only seven matches in the „Bundesliga“ and scored one goal.
Last season the winger spent time at „Mainz“ team, where he was loaned out, but due to injuries he played only ten matches.
„The acquisition of Jonas Hofmann will help compensate for the loss of injured wingers in the second half of the season. However, this purchase is aimed at strengthening our team in the long term. „Gladbach“ is in fourth place in Germany with 29 points after 17 matches.
