Gladbach "Borussia" coach resigns

After another defeat, which left Gladbach's "Borussia" club at the bottom of the Bundesliga table, team coach Lucien Favre resigned.

After last week's loss to the "Koln" team, "Borussia" still has no points after 4 rounds, has conceded 12 goals, scored only 2, and, along with "Stuttgart", shares the last place in the league.

After weighing everything and analyzing deeply, I came to the conclusion that the best decision for me is to step down from the position of the Gladbach "Borussia" coach," Favre said in an official statement.

"I no longer feel like the right coach for this club."

Favre took over the "Borussia" club during a similar period - when he arrived, the club seemed doomed to drop out of the Bundesliga, but miraculously managed to survive in 2011, and then became one of the strongest teams in Germany.

In the next season, "Borussia" made it to the Champions League qualifiers, but failed to advance to the main tournament. Last year, Favre's team finished third in the Bundesliga and secured a direct ticket to the most powerful European club tournament.

Unfortunately, the tragic start of this season forced the Swiss to resign.
