On Saturday evening, another match of the 26th round of the Bundesliga took place. The important victory was achieved by the Monchengladbach team, who defeated Frankfurt's Eintracht with a score of 3:1. The guests took the lead in the 1st minute of the match when Alassane Plea sent the ball into the net. Just a few minutes later, Marcus Thuram scored from a few meters and doubled Gladbach's advantage. After two quick goals, the third one had to wait until the 72nd minute, when Ramy Bensebaini converted a penalty kick from 11 meters and secured the victory for the visitors. In the 81st minute, Andre Silva scored a consolation goal for Eintracht. After this victory, Gladbach rose to the third place in the standings.
