Glistening K. Benzema led "Real" to victory in Barcelona

On Sunday late evening the last matches of the 21st round of the Spanish "La Liga" championship were played.

The winning streak in Barcelona was extended by the Madrid "Real" club. Despite finishing the match without two main central defenders, the "whites" defeated "Espanyol" footballers with a score of 4:2.

The match started well for the guests - already in the 4th minute Karim Benzema comfortably put the ball into the opponents' goal from a few meters away.

In the 15th minute, the advantage was increased during a standard situation by Sergio Ramos, who scored his 10th goal of the season.

After ten minutes, the opponents also reached their goal when the ball fell conveniently after a ricochet to Leo Baptistao. At the very end of the first half, again Diego Lopez easily overcame K. Benzema with a cunning strike.

In the second half, the advantage was increased in the 67th minute by Gareth Bale, who appeared just after the substitution. It seemed that "Real" would comfortably finish the match and score another goal, but in the 72nd minute Raphael Varane saw a red card, causing unnecessary chaos for the guests.

In the 81st minute, the Catalans managed to reduce the deficit, but that was all the hosts could squeeze out of the situation.

The Madrid team celebrated their third consecutive victory in the country's championships and remains in third place. "Espanyol", shining at the beginning of the season, is already falling to 15th place.
