Argentinian national team leader Lionel Messi has one guaranteed vote in the Ballon d'Or awards.
The national team coach of this country, Gerardo Martino, expressed loyalty to the team's captain and assured that he always knows exactly who to give his vote to.
"In the decision-making process, one cannot forget the fact that I am Argentinian and my heart belongs to L. Messi.
Maybe I am not the most suitable person to participate in such votes, but I cannot ignore the rising sentiments.
Certainly not the most objective decision, but no matter what season Messi may have, I would still give him my vote," Martino said before the friendly match between the national teams of Portugal and Argentina.
