"Man Utd" legend Gary Neville introduced as the new "Valencia" coach.
The 40-year-old Englishman admitted that his understanding of football was greatly influenced by the historic "Red Devils" strategist Alex Ferguson, but in Spain he will try to shape a different style of play.
"I won't offend Valencia by saying that I came here to implement the 'Man Utd' style of football," Neville said.
"I received invaluable lessons working with A. Ferguson, but when it comes to tactics, it will be one way playing against Barcelona this weekend and another facing Lyon next week," the Englishman declared.
"Every coach wants to see attacking football to delight the fans, but we also must find the key to victories."
Neville didn't want to talk about bookmakers' predictions and being one of the favorites to become the "Man Utd" coach in the future.
"I never look that far ahead. I am focused on the upcoming Valencia training sessions and the selection of the 11 players for Wednesday's match."
