Goalkeeper L. Paukštė remains with the FA 'Šiauliai' club

Continuing preparations for the new 2025 season, the football academy "Šiauliai" has reached another agreement - Lukas Paukštė has signed a new contract.

The goalkeeper, who arrived in the Sun City in 2022, has played a total of 75 matches over three seasons, keeping his goal "clean" 28 times. Throughout his career in Šiauliai, Lukas has also received multiple invitations to join the national Lithuanian men's team, led by Edgaras Jankauskas.

Last season, FA "Šiauliai" was hindered by a meniscus injury that Lukas suffered in the summer, which required surgery.

Remaining with the yellow-black family, Lukas is excited and eager to get to work with the team:

"I am really happy to stay in Šiauliai because I believe there are still unfinished tasks in this club. Last season may not have been what I expected, so I want to prove my worth again and achieve much better results with the team. I promise to give my all for this organization and its fan community.
