The legendary Merseyside derby between the teams "Everton" and "Liverpool" was last played at Goodison Park stadium.

In the 11th minute, taking advantage of the opponent's defensive negligence, Beto put "Everton" ahead.

Soon after, "Liverpool" equalized when Alexis Mac Allister scored with a header following a pass from Mohamed Salah.

In the middle of the second half (73rd minute), M. Salah made his presence felt once again. The "Liverpool" star sent a well-placed ball into the "Everton" net.

The "Everton" players, who played in the last such derby, ultimately did not allow their principled rivals to triumph. In the 98th minute, the tall defender James Tarkowski sent the ball into the net like a forward.

VAR continued to review whether there was offside at the time of the goal, but the goal was allowed to stand.

After the final whistle, a brawl broke out among the players. Abdoulaye Doucoure ran toward the rival fans, which angered "Liverpool" academy graduate Curtis Jones, who started to claw at the Malian defender. Both players received second yellow cards, meaning they will miss upcoming matches. Carlos Alcaraz was also caught up in the midst of the conflict.
