However, Barcelona's defender Gerard Pique told the press that the referee could have made a mistake by allowing Sergio Ramos to play against Arthur.
The latter footballer received a yellow card in the 10th minute, but later did not receive a penalty for fouling Arthur and getting involved in an incident with Luis Suarez.
"Antonio Mateu Lahoz did not referee badly, although I think S.Ramos should have been sent off.
Sergio deserved a red card, but what could we do?" - rhetorically asked G.Pique.
