In the near future, "Liverpool" promises to expand their stadium "Anfield" to 61 thousand seats, compared to the current 54. Today, the city council of Liverpool approved a £60 million project, which will be overseen by Liverpool's managing director Andy Hughes. Despite the potentially increased number of seats, the renovated stadium will also include family zones, various hospitality suites, and other amenities. The reconstruction is expected to take 18 months, with the earliest completion date being in the summer of 2023, but during the reconstruction, "Liverpool" will still be able to play at their home "Anfield" stadium.
