The England national team started the World Cup confidently.

In the first match of Group B, Gareth Southgate's players crushed the Iranian national team with a score of 6:2.

At the beginning of the first half, Iranian goalkeeper Alireza Beiranvand unpleasantly collided with his teammate, later he lay on the stadium grass for a long time and was forcibly substituted, as a result, an extra 14 minutes were added to the half-time.
