Growing Conflict: FIFA demands Premier League clubs release players for national teams

FIFA decided to present a public response to the South American national teams, which were frightened by the intentions of the "Premier" teams. This week it was announced that English clubs will not release their players for the World Cup qualifying matches CONMEBOL and in certain other groups scheduled for the beginning of September. The main reason is quarantine rules and the probability of being left without their returning footballers for some time. Nevertheless, FIFA stood against such intentions - an official letter was sent demanding that the English clubs not create obstacles to this. According to the world football organization, if clubs forbid their representatives to join the national teams, they will face the corresponding consequences.
