Before the World Cup quarterfinal match with Colombia, England's national team coach Gareth Southgate assured that his trained team demonstrates the level of football that all team fans can be proud of.
"Ten months ago, we qualified for the World Cup and fans at Wembley Stadium were sending paper airplanes," Southgate said. "After the match in Malta, we faced insults from our fans outside the hotel.
"But now I feel that we are rebuilding a connection with the fans. I feel that we are generating interest because we are playing in a style that these young English footballers are capable of," Southgate continued.
The clash between the "Three Lions" and Colombia will take place on July 3 at the "Spartak" Stadium in Moscow.
