Strategist Pep Guardiola once again repeated that Catalonia's team will not be able to defend the Spanish champions title this season.
On Saturday, "Barca" defeated "Sevilla" 2-0 away, but on Sunday, "Real" could regain a solid ten-point lead if they beat "Malaga."
"Forget about the national championship, we won't win it," Guardiola said. "This season there was another team that played better and achieved better results, so there is no point in denying this fact."
However, the specialist added that they will continue to fight until the end: "Our team always goes out on the field to fight for victory. In the Champions League, a tough battle awaits us against 'Milan', but we do not intend to save ourselves in the Spanish league."
