The striker of the Senegal national team, it seems, has angered head coach Paul Jewell for not returning to the team's camp after the Africa Cup of Nations.
After Saturday's match against Liverpool, which Wigan lost 0-1, P. Jewell said he "can't even imagine where H. Camara has been since Thursday when the Senegal national team lost the battle for third place to the Nigeria team."
H. Camara was supposed to return to the team's camp on Friday and had a plane ticket from Egypt, where the Africa Cup of Nations tournament took place, but he didn't show up at the club, leaving his team without nominal forwards.
"I'm here just to talk about the players who gave their all for Wigan Athletic, and these are the guys who were in the dressing room today," the coach said at the press conference after the match. "I'm disappointed with Henri, but once again, I repeat that I will only talk about the people here. Interpret it as you wish."
